Misunderstanding of Present Generation Youth in family Life:-


At present date, If we look towards today Newspaper, we can see the divorce rate have been quite increased in the married family life. There may be various reason i.e movements of youth towards abroad, having the affairs with other and so on.

I want to present my view by this article by observation of the youth, there words towards definition of life and mismatch between the thought in the generation. The sample taken by me is my friend circle and the students.

First Problem:- The first problem is lacking of proper guardianship. Proper guardianship in the sense, In Nepal almost 90% parents are themselves indiscipline. Indiscipline in the sense the parents themselves are involved in drinking wine, have affairs with other, making bad friend circle, playing cards and so on. This beliefs is being transfer to there children. But it also have been found, the parents don’t want there child to do the same thing what they do. For example A father who drink wine, he don’t like his children to drink it. But our parents forget that the belief is being transferred to their children by the guardianship.

Second Problem:- The second problem is the gender differentiation. In Hindu religion, one parents control his/her daughter a lot. They don’t allow their daughter to go out, and so on. But to son everything is been allowed. If a boy is being given free it means he is involve in wrong thing. Example:- If a girl is being raped that means someone son have raped it. But our society says that girls is bad not the boy.

Third Problem:- Lack of proper Rite (Sanskar) between Boy and Girl. Before marriage generally what it have been seen, a guardian do not allow his daughter to do household work. But  our parents expect  that the daughter in law,  should know all. works. They forget that there own daughter is going to be daughter in law of other family and vice-versa. Example, Today our parents don’t allow there child to do household work and they expect there daughter in law should know all the household work. Due to this reason conflict arises.

Fourth Problem:- Due to movies, facebook and increase in purchasing capacity of youth. Today’s generation are seeing a dreamy life or want to live how the actors have lived in movie. Example, weekly party, birthday celebration and so on. But it have been seen that today’s youth in the income of their parents they are enjoying a lot with their gf/bf. They spend money a lot. But after marriage when the entire financial load comes on their head, they don’t do this. So there is deviation of the life. Due to this what a girl expect, she don’t get after marriage.


Fifth Problem:- We are being taught about gender equality, positiveness. But in fact what the beliefs our religion have taught neither it is positive, neither Hindu religion also don’t allow gender equality. For example, why a girl should go to boy house, why not a boy can go to girl house, why girl should lower in age. Most important thing is regarding positiveness, why a girl character is only seen why not boys.Hindu religion some points are itself negative. Why there is Necessary of Son or why every family at list have Son. Why a Son can only give Fire , when his Parents die why not Daughter.  So all over what we have being taught and what Hindu religion says it have a gap.


So due to the gap between the beliefs developed by our parents, beliefs developed by  Hindu religion and the false expectation and dreamy life of youth , family life is not going well.

Hindu Religion, Sex and Nepalese Education

According to Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs, food, cloth, shelter, water, Sex are the basic needs which a human wants for survival. But while teaching or while learning the theory we have been taught in hindu religion sex should be done after marriage. In western culture it is different.



Even in one Television Interview Swami Arun Anand Swami had said sex is the basic part of human life and no any human can be born without it. Not only for human but for other leaving creatures they need sex to continue generation. The only things is In Hindu religion it should be done after marriage.  ( By Swami Arun Anand , Osho)

Khaptad Swami Book ( Bichar Bigyan , Nari Dharma and Purush Dharma) have mention that thought arises due to food so to have pure thought people should have pure food, he should leave in good environment, good friends should be there. He also have mention in his book (Naridharma and Purush dharma) in Hindu religion the role of female is more high or have to be pure in context of male.

But if we look no anything is going good. Due to globalization western culture have been adopted in Nepal. Wine have become common thing. Goods Friends is difficult to get.

Now lets come to the Nepalese Education and how it is affecting to Hindu religion.

If we see the Nepalese Education (12+2+4+2)= 20 yr + 2 yr (delay)= 22 yr + 5 (student start school)= 27 year One student study upto 22 year of age if he have regular study.

The human development (voice, sperms, other body parts) starts to develop from the age of 13-15.

Now the main important thing is there is a big mental or physiological problem among the student during student life regarding to sex. If we see Nepalese society one boys can have relation with many girls but his back history is not seen but if one girls have relation or have any kind of unclear back history everything is seen during marriage period (time).

In one lesson of +2 (nepali) Basai Upanyas written by Lil Bahadur Cheetry has mention why the people migrate or leave the society. One of the reason is the social issue. By three characters Rikuta , Jhuma and Motakaji he have presented his view.

Now today if we see many students during their student time period have bf/gf , leaving relation, sexual affair with one or more friends. It have become common things in student life that is before marriage period. But when one boy wants to marry a girl (generally in arrange marriage) there family want a wife like Laxmi who should be have all 32 character which Hindu religion says.

I cant say it as negative since Bhagwat Gita too have said (Change is the law of Universe) but the words of Hindu Mahatmas says western culture should not be followed in Hindu religion.

In my view if we look towards Hindu religion the 26-27 year education is one of the biggest problem for the student. We have followed the International standard but we don’t have match the standard with the religion. Since we can see the student mental body lacks in the class, many kind of headache problem, other things appear in student life.

If we look towards the Britain and US culture, there is not any kind of words called Virginity or the history donot matters during the  marriage time, there is no any problem of caste, and other things during the marriage.

Regarding to Nepal and India all this things matter. But one very good point of India is History hides In India due to its population and area. But in Nepal History cannot be hide.

In conclusion, I would like to say the International Standard made by USA and Britain should not be matched with Nepal or India since our religion says one thing while there religion says other. So 25 year education is also one of the greatest threat to destroy our Hindu Religion.( Destroy in the sense the castes is been ended, more in love marriage is there without understanding anything, insult and frustration in parents, people are liking western culture and many other thing).

False Ego In Today’s Youth Studying in Private (School, College and University)
In Maslow’s theory of Hierarchy, Ego ( Esteem) needs is the fourth needs which an Human wants to achieve after satisfying all the three needs.

At present, if we look towards the youth who are studying in private (school, college, University) we can see they have a huge ego (self – esteem) problem in the starting age (generally age of 14-24). In this in actual student should be in Physiological need.

I have presented this article by analysing various students and I have taken the model of Maslow’s theory of Hierarchy. The students sample is taken from my experiences (teaching in private college). By analyzing them, the students have problem of ego because of two reason.


 First thing is Our  parents  generally after earning money they have reach to the esteem needs , almost all parents are in the age of 45-50.  Parents who are investing 4-6 lakhs to their child have a good purchasing capacity. Due to the ego need of parents, the belief is being transfer to the child by the behavior and words of the parents. Example some words which the parents speak in front of the child are, Parents open the history (past economic condition) of their relatives, friends, teacher in front of their children. Due to which students have problem of ego because they thing they are quite strong in financial matter. They learn to dominant other from their parents.
     
     Second thing is Our parents have all most provided all the three needs  (Physiological, safety, social need) to the present generation. So automatically as per the theory of Maslows, today’s youth directly reached to the fourth stage, i.e they are in the ego needs.

     Third thing is student are engaged in making gf/bf/affairs more.As we know in Physiological need,Food Cloths,shelter...sex , Come.Almost parents after earning has provided/given ,food cloth ,shelter but still due to our religion ,Sex is restricted . So in Student life student are back of it.

Conclusion:-
The Increase/rise in purchasing capacity of parents and lack of spiritual education  have leads to the development false ego in the present youth.
